St. Albans Roman Catholic Church

“Built on an acre of ground, a gift from Andrew Montague, the building took a year to complete in 1898 and cost 4,000 pounds. The one bell, named ‘Mara Immaculate’ was positioned in a newly built tower in 1910.

Monsignor Donal Bambury the present priest (sic), holds a unique distinction, being made a Freeman of Doncaster in 1995 for his work in the parish.”
