Walks and Tourism

Conisbrough and Denaby is very lucky by being surrounded by such fantastic scenery and historical features. From the oldest standing building in South Yorkshire Saint Peters Church to the old mining viaduct over a quarter of a mile long. These features and the varied countryside make it a perfect environment for walks as shown on the map below the link buttons. A lot of work has already been done to establish a series of walks around the villages all of which can be seen at the Castle Tea Rooms.
